I am a Persian Ney player, a composer and a teacher. I have been playing Persian Ney for 30 years. I would love to help you playing Ney.

I started learning and performing Persian classical singing and Maqam music at
the age of 4 under my father’s teaching, Iraj Andalibi, a well-known Persian musician
whose work was especially appreciated amongst Kurdish people of Iran. Pursuing my dream to become a musician, I started playing Ney at the age of 13 professionally as only a handful of Persian musicians were able to perform this ancient instrument. My work followed by Avaye Andalib Ensemble alongside my father. My dedication to music as well as my desire to learn works of other cultures lead me to start learning classical western music since 1991.
I obtained my master’s degree from the Art University of Tehran in 2007 with specialty in Playing Iranian Musical Instrument, I have been a professional performer with more than 50 performances across the globe accompanied the grandmaster Mohammadreza Shajarian and other ensembles, as well being music teacher with more than 25 years of extensive experience. Currently, I live in Canada. I found Andalib ensemble in Canada. I perform with different ensembles and music groups, having concerts/tours regularly around the globe. Please follow my work on my social media as well as my youtube channel.
