Soloist, orchestral musician. First prize winner of the 2015 Munich ARD Competition, previously contracted with Vienna Phil.
My teaching style is informed both by the technical knowledge of my own teachers, as well as - where required - my fascination for psychology, spirituality and the human condition. When I was younger playing never came naturally to me: it has had to be built up from the ground, so I understand from the inside how to build a technique and an understanding of music, and know just what it feels like to battle complications in playing. I try to make my teaching style plain-speaking, intense, varied, and all with a big smile. I can help with anything from building interpretations, practice schedules, technical shifts, problem-solving and playing-breakdown related assistance.
