I´m a bandoneon player, arranger and composer from Argentina with 10 years teaching experience. I´d love to accompany your learning.
In my opinion, teaching is helping the student to be his own teacher, to awaken his curiosity and his enthusiasm for learning and making music, that is, for learning to use both his virtues and his limitations as tools. This is achieved through constant, conscious, sensitive and rigorous work, both of the instrument's technique and of the integral musical analysis (harmonic, rhythmic, expressive, etc.) of the study material.
In the lessons we will work, according to the levels, needs and concerns of each student: technique, repertoire, harmony applied to the instrument and musical analysis. We can also address technical elements of tango and Argentine music; and the bandoneon in unconventional contexts.
All of this, together with theoretical material and examples.
