I moved to the USA in 2016 as Principal Horn of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra, having formerly worked as a hospital doctor (MD PhD) specializing in respiratory and internal medicine in London teaching hospitals. In 2020, I became Associate Principal Horn of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra before moving to the Chicago Symphony, as Principal Horn, in September 2023. Whilst studying at medical school, I was appointed 3rd horn of the Philharmonia Orchestra, London.

I am passionate about teaching and look forward to sharing my ideas. My teaching is very much fundamentals based and I strongly believe that if the basics are mastered, the excerpts and pieces required for orchestral auditions look after themselves.

I am a horn professor at Roosevelt University CCPA, Chicago, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, California and at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
