I am a professional jazz saxophonist from Chicago. I have played for 30+ years and have 20 years teaching experience.

In 2000, I earned an M.M. in Jazz Pedagogy from the Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. I have studied with Rick Margitza, Bob Berg and Ellis Marsalis among others. I teach at three Chicago area universities (jazz history, music appreciation, jazz ensemble and jazz improvisation) and have many private saxophone students. I am a passionate performer and educator dedicated to demystifying jazz improvisation. I would love for you to become a better saxophonist with my assistance.
