Benoit began the horn at the age of 7 in the music school in his hometown. He continued his studies at the Conservatory of Tours in Arnaud Delépine's class where he obtained his DEM in horn and chamber music. In 2013, he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the class of André Cazalet (assistant, Jérôme Rouillard). During his training, he obtained his bachelor's degree and master's degree in horn.

It is in Paris that he will meet four talented musicians with whom he will form the Local Brass Quintet with whom he will obtain his master's degree in chamber music. Anxious to become a reference training in their field, they pass international competitions and are winners of the international chamber music competition in Osaka (Japan).
