Hello! Teaching is one of the great joys of my life. I am Professor at the University of Iowa, USA and give master classes around the world.
Hello, I am Nicole Esposito, flutist and teacher based in the United States where I teach flute to an international class of students at the University of Iowa. I have a twenty-year career that includes studying with the finest flutists, attending major music festivals, winning prizes and being a jury member for major competitions, solo performing and recording, orchestral playing and chamber music, hosting an international piccolo workshop and writing articles for major flute publications. The students that I have mentored go on to further study at major music schools, competitions, and orchestral and academic positions. The thing I love most about playing and teaching the flute is the wonderful people that I have been able to encounter around the world, specifically through master classes and lessons. My greatest goal in teaching is to help develop not only your skills as a player but also your sense of curiosity about what is possible; to take what you already know and help you discover even more ways to better connect with others through music on the highest level possible. I love to teach all levels and styles of music. Whether you are preparing for a major competition or audition or simply want to improve, I would be happy to work with you. Professor Esposito is the most dedicated teacher I have ever had the pleasure to work with. As a versatile performer and teacher with an international reputation, she offers a unique perspective on playing the flute, in addition to teaching her students how to critically think and succeed in any career path chosen. I am indebted to Nicole Esposito for making me a well-rounded musician. She has encouraged me to explore many different musical genres and techniques, but more importantly, she has helped me discover what kind of artist I want to be. (Bachelor of Music of Music, Flute Performance, University of Iowa, 2012-2016- The Juilliard School- Master of Music studies 2016)
