International soloist, playing chamber music, contemporary and classical, world music and a lot of Klezmer music.
I am on the faculty at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and the Buchmann Mehta school of music at the Tel Aviv University.
I've premiered a couple of hundreds of new works, working in New York with some of Manhatten's best contemporary music ensembels and in Israel with the Meitar Ensemble.
I play klezmer music in the most surprising and creative ensembles - combining klezmer and salsa with the Sexteto Rodriguez, combining klezmer and gypsy swing with the Kalimutke Philharmonia or accompanying the wonderful singer Ute Lemper.
I played as a soloist with the Geneva Camerata, the Torino Philharmonic, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony and the Richmond Symphony.
I educate for individuality, indepenency and mastery.
I encourouge my students to also search other ways of expressions such as improvisation, in different styles.
I am a graduate of the Paris National Conservatory and the Juilliard School in New York.

I know Gilad from a past sessions of lessons on Klezmer (in times of corona). As I was preparing for playing something with some other people -and improvising in Klezmer, I wanted a lesson with him. It was so great. He didn't give me music, but prepared me to create it myself and how to practise it.
