hello, I like teaching! a lot of playing, publishing for educational purposes and deep musical knowledge, all this makes me feel proud to teach
Hello there ! I have a long career both as a soloist and in chamber music player with the oustanding musicians such as F. Ayo, P. Vernikov, Tabea Zimmermann, S. Mildonian e many many others. I recently published a book "legato Espressivo" (Ricordi / Hal Leonard edition) as well as other books.
I have great experience in teaching with students from many countries around the world. I am a flute teacher at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia in Rome after being a visiting professor in New York and Bilbao and in countless masterclasses.

I believe teaching is very important activity for a musician. I think that my experience should be available for young students . My recent publeshed book
" Legato Espressivo" is a sort of "milliary stone"of my teaching.
The "legato" ( a very good slurring ) is the base of any further treatment of the sound, included staccato, even a very good pitch and intonation is related to it. Enjoy lessons.
I think that M° Carlo Morena is a great teacher for any kind of level: he can give you the strongest bases at the beginning and he can also guide you throughout the flute repertoire thanks to his knowledge and experience.
I think M° Carlo Morena is a perfect teacher for any kind of level: he can give you the strongest bases in order to grow with a solid technique and great sound and legato as well, and he can guide you throughout the hugeness of the flute repertoire.
Carlo Morena is a great teacher and musician, he is very competent from baroque to contemporary music and I found that his book “Legato Espressivo” is very useful too!
My experience with this teacher is really positive; he particularly cares for the quality of sound, an aspect I enjoy studying.
