Carla was nominated for the Grammy Awards, as first violinist of the Radamés Gnattali Quartet.
I started teaching when I got accepted to the Simon Bolivar Orquestra in Venezuela,
I was 16! Since then I teach all kind of students; from beginners to advanced.
In Brazil, where I live, my students win competitions local and internationally .
I teach how to handle your career, how to prepare mentally for a concert or a competition, and of course to play well the violin.
10 years ago I started a string quartet called Radamés Gnattali, where I'm the first violin.

First ViolinBeing part of "El sistema"as member of the Simon Bolivar orchestra, gave me the experience of working with excellent musicians and conductors, playing in the principals halls of the planet. -

CollegeAfter leaving my Orchestra I found a new love; the String Quartet! NCSA was terrific for my education, Mr Lawrence, my teacher, gave me the opportunity to learn the process of teaching, involving all the aspects of the student, I was his assistance. -
Hartt School 2007 – 2010
GPDUntil my G.P.D at Hartt I basically work with Galamian's students. Katie Lansdale showed me Gingold's , Delay's and Russian bow principals, not to change techniques but to embrace new sound and colors.

Carla Rincon is a great teacher. I started studying with her in 2014. Since then I've learned wonderful things both technically and psychologically.
