I have almost 30 years of experience teaching the recorder and chamber music. I teach in 2 universities (Portugal and Spain). Taught over a 100 Masterclass (Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, Germany, India, Japan and Australia), ranging from early 12th century music up to the 21st.
I work on a one-to-one way and it is the first time I try such an approach. I like to get to know people’s experience in the recorder and drive and take it from there. It is very difficult to put in words what comes out in emotions as I teach. I think the most important thing I can say is that I teach because I believe I make a difference in bringing joy in learning and playing the recorder. My way of teaching is criativ and experimental on solving difficulties; serious and focused; ecletic.
