I`ve lost count of the times I've recommended these videos to fellow trumpet players and students since I first encountered them. Mr. Bilger gives excellent insight to the approach necessary for each of the excerpts included in the Orchestral Studies video; his flawless performance of each excerpt gives the viewer an up close and high fidelity example of what we should all be striving to accomplish when preparing them. I've incorporated much of his warm up process into my own routine and enjoyed continued improvement to my sound, articulation, and facility ever since. For those who don't live near a metropolitan area, or who don't have access to world class private teaching, these videos are an outstanding way to learn from a true master of our instrument.
